On Thursday 5 December , Advo held it’s end of year celebration party which included the presentation of our ‘One’ Awards, Advo’s Oscars, where we celebrate our ‘best of the best’.. This was a night of celebration for all that Advo had achieved over the last five months since the switch to focus on HR and Payroll back in July. Advo’s ‘Oscars’ are a long-held tradition where we aim to celebrate the those of us who our staff feel have contributed the most during the year.
This year there were five awards including the ONE Award, where the Management Team put forward candidates which are voted on by the Directors. The Advonian of the Year, and all other awards are voted on by the staff who choose the winners.
Congratulations to our Payroll manager Caroline Jackson who won the Inspiration Award and also the Business Impact Award. The person that staff chose to be the Advonian of the Year was Siouan Oliver, our northern Payroll supervisor. The ONE Award recipient for 2024 was for the first time won jointly by HR Consultant, Sam Brown and Payroll Advisor Hayley Hardy. The ONE Award, our Employee of the Year, is chosen by the Directors from submissions from the Management Team.
