7 reasons why Advo does not offer templates to HR Clients

Advo’s Commercial Director, Chris McCracken outlines 7 reasons why we do not offer templates to our HR Clients.

  1. Documentation and correspondence must reflect your culture;
  2. How, what, and in what context things are presented, matters;
  3. The value of well crafted, personalised correspondence in any employment matter cannot be underestimated;
  4. A template may not express correctly the employer’s intention with regards to contractual or non-contractual bonuses;
  5. A template is no substitute for appropriate correspondence which can negate a claim for constructive unfair dismissal.
  6. Templates cannot address the importance of pre-emption, and of demonstrating duty of care
  7. Employee issues are never black and white and there can be a number of matters intertwined, which have to be unravelled with care. We offer advice and draft correspondence aligned with the situation to ensure that positive employee relationships are maintained, and the risk of litigation is reduced.

It should be noted that Advo HR clients have never lost a tribunal.
