We are delighted to announce that advo has been confirmed as finalists in this year’s Health and Protection Awards, an event considered to be the industry ‘Oscars’. The event celebrates both advisory firms, their individual advisers and insurance and protection providers too.
Both advo’s Employee Benefit and Private Clients teams are recognised, individually and as a team.
- Best Adviser Sales & Retention Team
- Best Workplace Wellbeing Advice Firm
- Best Healthcare Adviser
- Best Individual Protection Advice Firm
The sales and retention award seeks to highlight a firm that delivers high quality advice and ongoing support for both new and existing clients. This is a highly contested category and one that advo was fortunate to have won in the past.
The Workplace Wellbeing is for those firms that holistically considers how a whole workforce’s physical and mental health can be improved. advo’s submission used a case study from one of our account managers, Simon Friday, where he was able to create a wellbeing programme for clients from existing insurances and advo services.
The Healthcare Adviser category is to recognise an individual, in this instance Ellie Sultana, who was able to demonstrate how clients can broaden their staff benefit’s package within existing budgets. Ellie has been recognised a number of times in the past, starting in 2017 when recognised as the most promising industry newcomer.
Our Head of Private Clients, Sue Smith, is recognised once again. An industry veteran, she won her first award 20 years ago, being recognised as the UK’s best adviser for individual healthcare, an award she has won a number of times since.
Colin Boxall, advo’s Executive Director commented “I am lost for words to express the talent we have within advo, not only in the Employee Benefits and Private Client teams, but across the whole group. They are an amazing bunch of people. Seeking inspiration from the 1995 film, Babe, perhaps all that needs to be said is That ‘ll do Team… that ‘ll do…”
The finalists will be assessed by a panel of industry expert judges brought together by Health & Protection magazine with the winners announced when the whole industry comes together at a gala dinner in London in October.
