This system and all data is secure and operated in line with the highest level of security guidelines. We do not use any third party and there are multiple layers of security within the system. Information is not held on a cloud, but is housed within a secure server facility and our disaster recovery programme means that we can recover all data within an hour.

Our system is BACS-approved and compliant with HMRC, RTI and auto-enrolment. This means our system automatically aligns with these controls and our processes and systems are reviewed and passed by the regulatory bodies.
Compliant with regulatory bodies
Naturally, our system can calculate statutory payments and deductions, and is configured in line with client payroll protocols. However, this is an extremely efficient system and as it is built in house, we can quickly adapt it, and tailor requirements in line with client needs.
Adaptable
We have an efficient report-maker which means that we can send bespoke payroll reports to clients. This means clients only receive the reports that are relevant to them, rather than a plethora of meaningless information. These reports are automatically delivered and immediately sent in a password protected zip file. No more PDF attachments which can present a security of data risk.

This means that the delivery of reports is efficient and fit for purpose.
When designing reports for clients, we understand their needs. Recent examples have been separating normal codes for accounting purposes, anonymising salary information in order that such information is kept from more junior employees, separating HMRC information for the Apprentice Levy for accounting purposes etc. So, where we have the data, Advo can quickly create bespoke reports for management accounts, financial forecasting etc.
Our system can quickly upload data for pension providers in the manifold ways they require. Our system ensures pension contributions are accurately input, and maintained on the employer and employee’s pension portal.
Pension provider-adapted
Our system means that we have the capability to alter pay dates – some systems don’t allow this and so when there is an early or later pay date, e.g. Christmas, we can ensure that your employees are always paid correctly, on whatever date employers select.
Flexible pay dates
Our inhouse system means that employees have 24/ 7 access to their payslips and P60’s via the password-protected portal. This negates the need for email or an employee requesting a copy of a lost payslip or other pay information.
Not having to ask the employer for stuff
When an employee leaves, their P45 is uploaded to the system, and they have access to the system for six weeks after termination of their employment.
Payslips can be adapted to include a client’s logo, and we can add tailored messages to your payslips, e.g. ‘Happy Christmas from all the team’, or ‘don’t forget to book all outstanding holiday!’ etc.
In essence, the Advo Payroll system is extremely secure, built in line with all regulatory controls, but we also have the flexibility to configure data according to client priorities, produce reports in line with client requirements and ensure that all clients’ employees are paid accurately.
